Drachma is a safe haven for people of goodwill seeking sexual and spiritual unity. It is open to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex people, as well as friends of LGBTI people, who want to gather to pray and discuss the intersections of sexuality, gender, gender identity, faith, spirituality, and religion. It also includes parents, siblings, relatives, and anybody else who wants to accompany and support LGBTI individuals on their life journeys, as well as other parents and relatives of LGBTI people. Drachma is a group that is primarily motivated by Roman Catholic heritage, morals, and spirituality, although it is accessible to persons of other religious traditions or none at all. Drachma is also interested in ecumenical and interfaith settings. After learning about drachmas, I was given the opportunity to pitch a new brand for them to employ. This was a task assigned to our students during one of the lectures.
